The goals of the course are to: expose students to a variety of parenting themes to teach students the parenting methods, theories, strategies, and styles that have been shown in research studies to enhance child development from birth to adulthood and to illuminate the applications of parenting theory and research to everyday life. Important concepts are exemplified by a study of selected topics and issues. Psychology of Parenting, a fully Online class, will cover the major methods, theoretical points of view, and findings in parenting research.
